@RichmondVFL possession stats:

McDonough (15), Knights (13), Petterd (12), Lambert (11), Arnot (10)

Lennon got our first of the second half.

A strong passage of play sets up McBean in front of goal and he converts.

@EssendonVFL 12.5.77 v Richmond 7.8.50

Will be interested to see a wrap up of this game but looking at the squad it just looks a bit bare when it comes to decent mobile type defenders. So i would imagine that once the ball goes inside 50 and hits the ground we could struggle to get it out again. Also a lot of forward moves would normally come via the run and carry from halfback but not sure there is much experience in that area either. As has been said in the past the results aren't as important as player development and if we see some players similar to Kamdyn make it into the senior side then the VFL side of things has surely played its part.
