Forget Bomber - overrated, over-the-hill who hates Richmond and thinks we're a joke.

Voss, Bassett, Ling or bring back Andy Collins - anyone who can get a side with JON in it to a Grand Final is surely a proven miracle worker.

Lyon has the worst coaching style I've ever seen. Sure it gets them deep to the finals but do we want to watch 10 goal games every weekend?

As mentioned already has never built a team from scratch or dragged a middling team like us into greatness. Grant Thomas and co did the hard yards in developing the team and Lyon just implemented his negative game style. Then he didn't bring any fresh blood into the Saints and now Nick Riewoldt has to contend with kicks over his head, kicks too wide and kicks that fall 40m short week in week out.

He's extremely fortunate he has Fyfe on his team but he is doing the same thing at Freo. Pavlich, Sandlilands, McPharlin, Johnson, and Duffield are all going to retire soon and the team is going to be stuffed.

We need a Hinkley/Burgess combo which can take us into top 4. (That being said Port need their best 22 on the field to be a premiership contender)

So Ross Lyon never helped build Sydney

TigerMonk, according to wiki he joined Sydney in 2004. Considering they finished 3rd in 2003, I would question the amount of input he contributed in getting the Swans to win a flag.

Out of all the coaches in the AFL ... Ross Lyon is the only one who could bring about the cultural change needed at Richmond. Richmond needs a dictator type coach. A leader. Someone who will have complete control and be in full command. Bring out the chequebook Richmond and get us a serious coach.

Seriously ... this is now a massive issue. Richmond cant just appoint anyone. Richmond needs to get Ross Lyon. Don't know how they do it, don't care what it costs. Just do it.

Rossy loves money, problem is Freo is a wealthy club too. It's not like we're pinching a coach from St Kilda or Brisbane.
And you may not think I care for you

Has to be a huge name who has won premierships.

Anything less and we'll fail. Again.

Roos is the obvious choice at this point in time at the end of 2016.

Will instill defensive discipline and accountability first and foremost.

Roos wont coach again after Melbourne IMHO. He'll leave them as an up and coming side and his reputation will be enhanced. He wont risk it by coming to Richmond.

Club has to throw the kitchen sink at him.

Agreement is in place with Goodwin.

If you can get Melbourne accountable  and hard at it bar Jack Watts you can do anything.
