Maybe that last moment didn't come out right. My point is the rules on endless rule changes are a response to the coaching and it's the coaching that's crook

I'm not sure AFL is enjoyable anymore. Definitely not for the players in 17 of 18 clubs. Flooding, zones, high rotations are killing the game as a spectical. The hands in the back rule has been the best rule in 10 years, since the 50m penalty.

But all this protecting the head, no sliding in to the ball type rules are just crazy and these rules are being put in because of the way the game is played and coached now. If anything they should be have a raising the arms rule so when Joel Selwood raises his arms and the tackle slides up then he doesn't get a free. Like the ducking the head rule.

18 v 18

it would be good

Enough is enough, I've made a decision to not go again until we have a new coach and I'll stand by it. I don't care if we do another 3-10 and 9 in a row, I'm not going until D.Hardwick is out the door

Either sack the coach or play the kids. Preferably both.

TRUE TOUGHNESS.

Haven't seen anything close to it since 1994/95 besides Howat vs Barnes in '96.   :thumbsup

It makes me sick to the stomach now how soft we are.

Eliminate flooding!
Go back to 20 V 20 with just 2 interchange players & 4-5 interchanges per team, per quarter.
Endless waves of refreshed players & a sub make it too easy for 36 onballers to follow the ball around for the whole 120 minutes!  It is ruining the slower strong bodied but highly skillful footballers, destroying forward play & making ruckmen into a liability!
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
