LMFAO@ Wallace basically saying Ottens is Sh&t  :thumbsup

RICHMOND coach Terry Wallace made a pointed observation about two much-debated AFL transfers after yesterday's 20-point win over Geelong at Skilled Stadium.

Plenty of discussion had resulted from the five-year contract offered to ruckman Troy Simmonds in late 2004 to entice him from Fremantle to the Tigers. Richmond needed Simmonds because Brad Ottens had just left the club to go to Geelong.

Yesterday, Simmonds continued his outstanding form and Wallace made it clear what he thought of the wash-up from those trades: "Everyone said the more fancied one came to Geelong," he said. "We're fairly happy with our lot … and I think he's doing a pretty fair job."

;D  took the words right out of mouth lol.

Simmo is superfit and Ottens is not. Everytime Simmo marked the footy, Otto was miles behind him. Trading Ottens is a lesson that no matter where you finish on the ladder you should always look to trade for early picks if your recruiting is smart.

hm - I can't recall writing to Brad - I've had a few sleeps since then  :shh

I'm pretty sure Jack was a big wrap for him, after all, he's a good judge  :bow

All I want to say is :

There were far worse players last week than Brad Ottens playing the game. For some silly reason, you people want to assassinate him. It's just rubbish.

You people ...  All of you ... ALL OF YOU....It's rubbish. Leave him alone.

Bomber Thompson should just bring in a tape-recorder into his aftermatch press conferences because he will be repeating those lines over and over again.
