Some new excuses for Cotchin next week

Given Cotchins run out of excuses for our poor performances, what are some new ones we could make up to help him next week?

I had a hidden mic in the meeting room today and heard the final address from Hardwick.

"Look boys, no matter what happens this week, next week we drop the two most inexperienced blokes".

It was real, stirring sort of Braveheart style stuff.
