Bomber or close the doors.
That would be the same kind of short sighted knee jerk dim witted decision that inspired Carlton  to secure malthouse ,,,,um. No thanks  ::)

Not even slightly comparable.

Bomber is the best available coach right now, unless we shake an already contracted one then he is our man.

Knights isn't strong enough to overcome the challenge of Richmond and is already stained with the culture.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Bomber lacks the hunger and motivation to coach us. His head is not screwed on right. He left Geelong FFS under spurious circumstances.

Knights at least has a lot of people to prove wrong. He is hungry for success.

Knights was a mess at Essendon.

Don't worry about Bomber's hunger.

He doesn't want his legacy to be being tied up with the Essendon mess, he would love to come back and be known as the man who delivered Richmond to the promised land.

He changed a culture at Geelong that was almost as messy as Richmond's albeit in a different way and he was man enough to walk away from Senior coaching when he knew he wasn't the right bloke.

He is perfect for us, needs to happen.  :shh

"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

I want Ross. If he can get a talentless poo heap like Freo to be a genuine contender then he can do wonders with our list. Yes it falls short depth wise but the top end talent is there and with someone like Ross I reckon he'll bring it out of them to prove it

did bomber really change the culture at Geelong.

he was close to getting the arse IIRC.

Their turn around came when Chapman gave his teammates a public bollocking, while our leaders take them by the hand and back them in rather than demand a change.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yep. We need Ross Lyon.
He can bring the disciplined ethos that our club craves. He is no BS.
Don't care that he hasn't won a flag yet. He stuffing well deserves one.
