Changes for the Port game?
« on: May 17, 2015, 08:52:21 PM »
Houli copped a knock to his shoulder but played out the game. Other than that I think everyone else got through unscathed.

So fire away with your changes for next week, if any?

Clearly Newman must come back......
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

In:
Griff

Out:
McBean

Would love to see McBean stay in and Vickery go out but it probably sends a poor message dropping Ty after he actually put in today. I'm sure it will be a matter of time before he has a stinker again and hopefully we will see McBean again soon. Would also love to see McDonough come in for Morris but that's extremely unlikely.

If Griff comes in for anyone it should be Elton.

Disagree.  We need to keep playing Elton down back.  He needs the confidence.  He is a huge unit which we lack down back.  Griff in for maybe Menadue. We need to be bigger against Port and stretch them.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Bean plays small so I think we can fit them all in.

I'd have real concerns that Port would murder us on the rebound.

Some here would fervently hope so as they could peddle their poo for a week

We went small in the final last year and they killed us on the rebound as we didn't have enough players that could mark the ball in attack…..

I'd have real concerns that Port would murder us on the rebound.

Agreed, Batchelor was horrible today.
Play Dea FFS.
We played 4 guys today with 2 games experience between them. Work it out Dimma, these guys like Batch are holding us back, Dea is twice the footballer that Batch will ever be.

Out: Morris
In: Edwards if not - Conca or McDonough. Both were reasonably good today, McDonough would walk in if he kicked the winning goal. Was very good in the 2nd half.

If we can elevate Short off the rookie list I'd try him as a small forward. Morris adds nothing. If we move Morris into the 2s we've finally gotten rid of the passenger army of Newman, Petterd, Lloyd, Gordon and Morris.
Go Tigers!

IMO Batchelor is the worst player I have seen in a Tigers jumper for 5 years. He gives nothing to our side. He is hard at he footy that I love but he is below AFL standard on every other skill that can be measured. We play one short with him in our back line. I hope Dimma realizes that sooner rather than later but I bet he will not be in the side at years end.

watched some of the ressies  game.Concas first 3 possesions were turnovers.
Batch has been ok so far this year, and to drop him after one poor game would be just dumb.
