Today wasn't a lucky win either. We just played bad and still won. Another 4 points in the bag.  :clapping

We were lucky mummy and Davis and co. we're not playing

And they were lucky as we missed set shot after set shot. Today we won because we outlasted them that's all. When the game was their to be won, GWS faltered and we played well in the last quarter.

Still a worry can't beat a team of 21 year olds missing best playes in key position by much

Lucky

Like many this year

Other team missing goals  :pray

More scoring shots to us but nice try  ::) ::)

Pretty dumb way to look at the universe

considering that you first stated we were lucky because of the oppositions missed shots, this would have to be the most inane convoluted logic i have read in a long, long time.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

I thought GWS played pretty well. I thought we defended and contested well. Our delivery inside 50 and set shots were terrible.
An ugly win but our last quarter was solid, so I'll go for solid bordering on lucky. Shed and Rance were outstanding.

As long as teams continue missing from 20 out we got nothing to worry about eh

that makes as much sense as the rest of what you are saying, i suppose George.

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

The. Argument opposition sides missing easy goal have not been of assistance to us this season is strange, Fred

The argument that we were lucky because the oppostion miss goals, when we actually have more scoring shots, and miss our own momentum killing easy goals is about as bizarre as it gets.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

I remember a time , a time when we had blokes like Thursfield , McGuane , Moore in the backline . A bloke like Morton as the Key forward when we used to get orgasmic over honourable losses.
Gee we pushed Sydney , Gee  we only lost to Geelong by 20 points  blah blah blah.

GWS had an honourable loss  on the weekend . We beat them despite not getting out of second gear for 3 quarters .

Times have changed .

Solid and mature for mine. Loved the way the intensity lifted and once it did, they were no match for us. Just wish we could find that level of consistency in effort and application bc if we do we're a show against anyone
