Left 10 minutes into the 3rd qtr once the margin was 10 goals

Biggest problem with our VFL side is the fact that our VFL listed players are not up to it. Some of our VFL listed blokes were non competitive compared to Werribee's VFL listed players.

Which is further proof to me that results at VFL level aren't that important to the Club, might be to supporters but it isn't to the club. If we really serious about results we would have a much stronger VFL list so on days like today when we have no choice but to use the "top up" blokes we would be competitive.

Thougt Soldo though way out of his depth showed some promise. Good leap and a reasonable kick. Jayden Short has footy smarts but Is just so small.

Elton was our best while I was there by a long way

very hard to find any positives with the others.

The nicest thing I can say about the performance was it was abysmal

I actually think that Jayden Short has the ability to play at the higher level. Plenty of smaller types like Kane Turner at Norf have played. Short has ability and we should just continue to develop him.

Stupid post WP, why don't we care? Why bother?
Trying to build a culture starts at the bottom, not good enough!
Actually no where near good enough.
Where's  the challenge to go down a level and be competitive, this is turning into a real pooful venture. :banghead

Agree with this from the games I have seen this year, plenty of skill and upside.

with doz on the injury list, will be nigh impossible to field a competitive ressies side

Cub not saying I agree with what they are doing (I don't) but blind Freddie can see with the VFL top ups they have that thier focus is not what it should be and that's results. If the focus was result driven we would have targeted more recently delisted AFL players or top line VFL players.

Quite frankly they were non competitive today. And outside of the captain Cachia and a couple of others the top ups out there today were not up to VFL standard. With our injury list and these top up players we have we are not going to be competitive in the short term. Unless of course we play Frankston every week

And just on Jayden Short, I like him as a player would love to see him get a senior gig but all I was highlighting is how small he is when you look at so many of the bigger bodies that were out there today. Have to say he put some of the more experienced blokes out there to Shane today. A very smart player
