when you have miles, vlastuin, cotchin, martin, edwards, etc.

 :huh :huh

its like being a man down from the get go. crazy stuff

we seem to go on long runs on getting shat on in the clearances. not just against nicnat and sandilands, but against crap teams too. even when we win some times

god your blind hatred makes you dumb.

but from your post a legit question is raised;

why doesnt vlastuin play on ball?

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Vlastuin has been very good down back of late and I actually thought he wasn't that bad again last night all things considered - well far from our worst at least anyway.....but yes, think we would ultimately be better served with him in the guts.

Tell you what though, after just watching GWS without Mumford, reckon if we bring Hamspud in for just one match this year it'd have to be the one against them....

We could have used him last night. He had quite a good leap and would have been much more serviceable in the ruck vs NicNat.

Really happy with Nick's evolution down back. We all seem to expect him to go into the midfield and ignore the fact he's played his whole life down back. He reads the play so well behind the ball. Just because he's hard as nails doesn't make him suited to being a full time mid. Think he'll eventually pinch hit in there but see him spending most of his time behind the ball.

Like him down back.
Just because he's capable doesn't mean he has to play in the guts. One of his biggest strengths is his reading of the play, which is best utilized down back.
