Williamstown got on top a bit that quarter.

Thomas is still our leading possession getter with 15, 8 tackles.

Short now has 3 goals.

Half-time

Richmond        3.0     5.6-36
Williamstown   4.3     7.8-50

Goals: Short 3, McKenzie, Menadue

Only going off twitter updates so hard to tell.

We're under way in the 3rd qtr and off to a great start in this second half with Lloyd snapping a goal.

Short; I really liked the look of him in the preseason, any chance he could get a promo to the firsts... :cheers

The young guys usually have to play a number of good games in a row before they are even considered for senior footy. That's what hurt McDonough last week despite having 29 possies and kicking 3 goals.

A great contested mark from Sam Lloyd in the pocket sets him up 30m out. And he goals. However Willy get it straight back.

The score would be a lot worse if Willy had kicked straight.

3/4 time

Richmond        3.0     5.6     7.6-48
Williamstown   4.3     7.8    10.20-80

Goals: Short 3, Lloyd 2, McKenzie, Menadue

Half the side are our VFL-listed players, most of whom aren't even VFL standard.

Yeah but we do have a few in that are senior or rookie. What are all the other sides seconds loaded with AFL players?

We're missing quite a few due to injury. Hampson, Knights, Petterd, Elton, C.Ellis and then Morris was 23rd man up in Sydney. Other VFL clubs would also have better local leagues to draw VFL-listed players from.
