Giants playing simple direct wet weather footy to an open forward line and we're trying to play our high possession game and can only have long shots from at best 50  :banghead.

Richmond have scored 0.4 (4) from stoppages today; GWS have scored 2.3 (15) from stoppages.

Richmond have scored 2.0 (12) from kickins, while GWS have only transitioned a single kickin to their forward fifty, kicking 0.1 (1).

Richmond had the better of general play, an had 14 inside 50s to GWS's 7. But scores ended up level for the quarter.

There are no excuses not to win here. No ruckman no captain and yet they are still in the game

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Anytime Hardwick wants to make a change and pick up the loose man in defence is fine with me!
Houli... Back to the magoos until Ramadan is over. Someone give him a rump smoothie at half time so he can compete and attack the ball.
Newman, how does this guy get a game, his 8 possessions and lack of leg speed must be invaluable to the match committee.

Houli is a liability most days but when it's wet he is pathetic!!
Lids kicking at goal is very ordinary for a guy with very good skills.

We are a dumb side, playing this type of footy when it's wet.
Making it even harder to score when we kick it to the pockets.

Melbourne game (second half)  all over again.

Rance bleeding, told the ump yet the ump wouldn't call for the blood rule  ::).

And being one down costs us a goal.

23 - 29

What a farce.

We're outnumbered because we're so slow in moving the ball forward. In the last couple of minutes we had about 10 kicks going back and forth across half-back and wing. Surprise surprise the Giants had everyone behind the ball and then hit us on the counter to an open forward line for them. Just dumb dumb dumb! It's wet weather footy - get it forward long and quickly before the opposition can get numbers back and have ground level players front and square to crumb.

Gordon - Better but still so poor
Vickery - Back to his norm ::) let's see if he steps up and has a good second half
Chaplin - just so slow
Newman -  :banghead meant to be a good kick and is miles in the clear and can't hit a target

Ellis gets an 'out on the full' kick 80m from goal, kicks it backwards 40m, gets it back and kicks it to where he had the kick from the 'out on the full'
Typical Ellis and typical Richmond.
