Just like everyone at North, Boomer always loves to pump himself up for a big game against us  ::).

Does anyone contemplate that the player might be becoming bigger than the club, and the club is willing to sell its identity out to the player on the basis that the club has little identity?

I mean, changing the stripe to include his name.....can't recall our sash being changed to 'richo' but I'll tell you who was a better bloke

Does North have any club identity to sell? The crappy shinboner tag has lost its relevance since they've done nothing to brag about over the past 15 years and they've spent most of that time being the travelling wilburies desperately chasing cash here, there and everywhere - the North ... umm ... Melbourne ... umm ... Sydney ... umm ... Gold Coast ... umm ... Ballarat ... umm ... part-time Hobart ... umm ... part-time Melbourne again ... Kangaroos.

It says a lot about where their list is at too when their best and most marketable player is in his mid-30s.

Mid thirties implies 35 MT.
Boomer is 37. In my book that's late 30's. ;D

That's why he'll play till he breaks Tucky's games record.
Even if he is 50 years old in the process.

Characterless, nothing footy club.

Skataboner spirit at its finest. ;D

At lest with Tuck and KB they knew the end was nigh and Tucky was a 3 time
Premiership Captain on retiring.

What's Boomer other than a self gratifying sniping kouratha. ;D

Carey said this morning on MMM that there is a rumour that this knob will announce his retirement after his 400th but to play out the season. Don't we play them in round 23?  ::)

I call bulls hit.  They will be doing everything they can to make sure their nothing club will get him beyond Tuck ' s record. Soulless club just like melbourne.

Would love to see him snipe and get another 5-6 week suspension like he copped at the end of 2012.
Would laugh my head off if he got stranded on 424/25 on the back of Nought tumbling down the ladder and knowing they need to regenerate the list. :snidegrin

Knowing Nought even if he did a knee he'd be still on their list in 2017 or beyond till he breaks Tucky's record. :-\

I'd stop following AFL if this guy is the games record holder

Why? I don't like the guy but he is an amazing athlete to keep his body in shape for so long and if he can break the record, kudos to him. I can't see how that will effect my love for the RFC and footy in general.

The two are mutually exclusive.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.
