Gold Coast Suns drug saga
« on: July 02, 2015, 12:49:58 AM »
Talk about a club going from one crisis to another and imploding en masse :yep.

- Best player in the comp. gets injured and they crash out of the top 8.
- Then they dump their coach for not making the finals and his replacement can't win a game.
- Same best player can't say when he'll return back to playing footy.
- Former 'marquee' player paid millions to cross codes and attract attention to the game  :P is charged with drug possession during his time at the club just before he was dumped/delisted.
- Same former 'marquee' player then publicly dumps on 12 of his former teammates over drug use.
- Club hierarchy only says they'll investigate these claims after it hits the media despite being told about them months ago.
- Playing list allegedly split between a 'party drug squad' and a 'god squad'.

- And today, one of the best young players is plastered on the front page of News Limited papers around the whole country allegedly doing lines.

A bit late for the Suns and the AFL to attempt damage control  :facepalm.

Just a reminder to EVERYONE

Stick to the commenting on what's been reported

Don't go around posting speculation on who the supposed 12 cohorts of Karmicheal are = don't post names of other players even in jest

Anyone failing to adhere to this will receive an automatic strike under OER's 3 strikes policy (no pun intended), no ifs, buts or maybes

And for those posters who constantly question our tough stance on the posting of unsubstantiated rumours, that is the same posters who and post about their angst and question us about it over and over again ....you'll will face a suspension as well. We've explained why we have the tough stance, it applies here, especially on this topic

I like when Goddard said the Gold Coast players should come clean and own up. Should probably worry about his own club.

Snip  :banghead

Which part of this isnt clear ???

Don't go around posting speculation on who the supposed 12 cohorts of Karmicheal are = don't post names of other players even in jest

I said no speculation and someone posts a photo, that is speculating. May not have typed names but might as well have.

The players haven't been named and until they are don't go guessing, suggesting or speculating

Can we make it any clearer

Someone probably sold that photo to News Corp. What a dog!
And our old mate Karmichael, I haven't been able to read an article about him since the Cairns debacle. I can't even look at his face. I believe he is still on the roster of the Queensland Reds.  :ROTFL
