Martin had 14 contested possessions.

Cotchins 13 were mostly little dinky 20 metre specials that lack penetration & guts that normally accompany a leader of a footy club.
We should expect more from him he's not a kid anymore and he's going backwards. If he doesn't pull his finger out his 9 possession EF will be his legacy.
He needs to do more!
The club that keeps giving.

:lol making a late run as president of the RCGG?

I rate cotchin as a player, but not as a leader. It doesn't seem to come naturally to him, it's manufactured. He may have had many touches but he misses vital goals and no tackles is not good leadership.

Cotchin exchanges were 'just banter', says Treloar

AFL.com.au
7 April 2016

ADAM Treloar says his exchanges with Richmond captain Trent Cotchin in the final quarter of Collingwood's thrilling one-point win last Friday night were all in good fun.

Treloar carried some baggage into the round two clash against the Tigers following comments he made after joining Collingwood in last year's trade period.

The former Greater Western Sydney midfielder, who was also heavily courted by Richmond and North Melbourne, later explained his decision to choose the Magpies over the Tigers by saying: "I think Collingwood have a better list".

Richmond looked set for victory on Friday night when Jack Riewoldt goaled to put it 17 points up at the 21-minute mark of the final quarter.

Around this time, Cotchin had words with Treloar.

Asked by SEN radio what Cotchin had said, Treloar downplayed the exchange.

"It was just a little bit of banter, just basically something along the lines of 'I'd spoken too soon'," Treloar said on Thursday morning.

"It was all good fun when he said it and then obviously we won."

Asked whether Cotchin had a crack at him about not going to Richmond, Treloar said "pretty much everyone" on the Tigers team had done so at some point during the game.

"But it wasn't anything serious, it was just all fun and everything just gets kept out on the football field," Treloar said.

About 10 minutes later Brodie Grundy goaled with four seconds remaining on the clock to secure an unlikely comeback win for Collingwood.

After the final siren sounded, Treloar was captured on camera speaking to Cotchin and playfully rubbing his head.

"I said, 'You spoke too soon, mate,' and I gave him a wink," Treloar said.

"He'll be coming out firing next game. I know he'd love to play us next game, so I look forward to that as well."

Treloar conceded the Pies had been fortunate to get away with the four points against Richmond.

"Luck fell our way," he said.

Was told last year during trade time that Gubby Allan was returning to the pies this year. Was also told he was only interested in dealing with the pies regarding the Treloar deal. This stinks to high heaven and we never had any chance at all. Backroom deals continue.........

Intrigue surrounds Collingwood’s recruiting of Greater Western Sydney battler Tim Golds a month after the contentious Adam Treloar trade was sealed.

The Herald Sun can reveal an arrangement was struck between the Pies and Giants’ football boss Graeme “Gubby”Allan to send Golds to Collingwood during last year’s trade period.

Richmond and North Melbourne were also chasing Treloar’s signature but were beaten by the Magpies.

Collingwood announced on Tuesday night that Allan, 61, had also defected from the Giants and taken up a new job at Collingwood overseeing the club’s academies and women’s football and netball programs.
