Don't like that we're messing with a successful three tall structure.

McBean obviously on Hardwick's shyte list now. Tipping Riewoldt's impact to be severly minimised. Idiotic.

Worried will not be able to kick a winning score with team listed. Hampson, Morris, Lambert and Gordon not prolific goal kickers.

Worst side of the year.
At least Thomas didn't  get selected. So why would they upgrade in today?

Yet our second best player from the seconds last week and our top draft pick for last year languishes in the twos…….

Dea not even an emergency.  :lol
And Thomas is  :lol
Is Miles injured?
That's the only reason I can see why he would be upgraded and picked as an emergency.

Can anyone else think of anything even remotely logical?

Yeah, I don't like this one either. McBean did everything you could ask of him to earn a game this week, kicking four goals in a low-scoring win against the Roosters. I would've thought he was the logical choice to replace Griffiths.
There was a story on Carlton's debutant Fields on AFL 360 this week, which was pretty concerning. Apparently he has a booming kick. They showed footage of some of his kick-ins, and he was regularly plonking them into the centre square. Apparently they measured his longest kick at 85 metres :help

Noticed Miles limping in the change room last week with ice strapped to his knee, most players seem to have ice strapped somewhere after a game so didn't think much of it at the time.

Morris has done absolutely nothing to warrant selection, reeks of nepotism. Hampson I don't mind as I believe we will get more centre clearances than we do with Maric as Hampson is a very good tap ruckman. Why upgrade Thomas who has been killing it and then select Morris.

So considering Griffiths is out for 3-4 weeks are we going with the two forward set-up until he gets back?

Be interesting if Hamspud injures himself again tomorrow night -or plays so badly he has to be subbed out- and we only have Vickery as our ruck and Riewoldt as our solitary tall forward.

yep just doesn't make sense movinh away from a 3 tall setup that has proven to be effective - and McBean showed he could play the role well earlier in the year, leading intelligently and away from the other 2 talls, so why not play him?

If the above happens then we're stuffed
