A kind of a 'curtain-raiser' although you'll be rushing to get from Punt Rd to Etihad for the AFL game which starts at 4.40pm.

VFL ROUND 14

Richmond
(4-8, 12th) vs Port Melbourne (6-5, 9th)

Sunday, 19th July @ ME Centre, Punt Road Oval.

Time: 1:00 pm

Really is an 8 pointer
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Pity it's not a Port Melb home game and then it would work nicely as a curtain raiser

How is Ivan Soldo coming along in terms of development? Can he play?

You would have been surprised at his game last week. Took some nice marks but it was his ruck work that was very good  ;) He is driven and has said he wants the top job when big Ivan finishes up in 2-3 years.

Long way to go but has a good size about him that makes him look quite strong and fit although it's probably fair to assume he is a long way off AFL fitness. Skills wise he doesn't get much of it at all so it's hard to tell and his ruck work still needs improving.

Held back for another week following training yesterday - just managing his load returning from injury.
