Mobile Video arrives at Tigerland
« on: September 16, 2005, 04:16:27 PM »
In a new initiative, the Tigers have joined forces with Telstra, to be the first
AFL Club to offer the premium experience of streaming 3G video clips exclusively to your mobile
phones on the Telstra's high-speed mobile network. For those with video capacity on their mobile
phone, you have an opportunity to view Richmond coach Terry Wallace's opinion on the winners at
the Jack Dyer Medal presentation, just moments after the announcement at 10.30pm tonight
(Friday, September 16). To access the video, simply locate the Richmond section of the
afl.com.au 3G site and follow the prompts.

Telstra brings you a world of content specially formatted for use on your video mobile. It
allows you to make the most of your mobile hand set, with access to exciting new content and
video clips, including the latest in sports, news, music, games and entertainment. Tonight's
opportunity to view Terry at the Jack Dyer Medal presentation is the first of many chances to
launch into the inner sanctum at Tigerland. In the lead up to the season, we'll offer more video
clips covering information on the trade, the draft, and general player updates. Then when the
2006 season arrives, you'll be able to watch exclusive updates from the coaching staff during
the week and on game day. We want all Tiger fans to be able to get closer to the action!

For Richmond supporters yet to access the Telstra high-speed mobile network, you don't have to
miss out. To watch Terry's 2005 Best and Fairest summary on line, go to the Richmond website,
richmondfc.com.au, and follow the link from the Broadband Feature section on the homepage.

Please note: This opportunity is only available to customers of Telstra with 3G mobile phones or
a Bigpond broadband connection. Telstra video content is generally only available in 3G coverage
areas. Standard costs apply.

looks like a good opportunity for both telstra and the tigers to earn some money with a sponsorship arrangement.
