Flogging on the Way
« on: July 21, 2015, 05:19:21 PM »
The way we have played over the past few weeks has been terrible and yet we have come away with wins, some of those wins were very lucky.

We can't keep playing like we have been and getting away with it. I think the either Freo, Hawks or the Crows are going to unleash an almighty fury on us IF we don't get back to the way we played against the Dockers and late against Sydney.

I just feel we are really hanging on at the moment. :-\. Not to the top 8 but to our game plans because we are not executing it efficiently. We are error riddled and we look inept a lot during games.

We turn the ball over early and players like Batch do it regularly until about the third qtr.

If we don't change it up a bit and give Knights, Dae and McBean a go with the likes of Griff back in I think we are up for an old fashion smashing and it will start in the first qtr!!

Was it a few years ago in the rain i think 2013 when we were fav's to beat freo and they beat us in the wet at the g?

I think we will win this to be honest, but they need to be on for 4 quarters. We will know in the first 10 minutes.

Got a feeling it will be Hawks. They have been ruthless. Dockers have been ordinary like us. They may beat us but won't be a flogging. Hawthorn on the other hand...

Yep, them or the Crows on their home turf.

Team is playing as much as the opposition requires.

Don't think we'll get overly smashed by anybody anytime soon.

Beat Freo (15-20 points), honourable/comfortable loss to Hawks IMO (10-40 points).

All teams have the occasional flogging - even in premiership years .

Fremantle have been winning but been every bit as uninspiring as Richmond.

Hawthorn have shown in the past couple of weeks that the flag is theirs to lose.  They have dismantled other heavyweight contenders. On current form they will destroy us.

We are a long way off the Hawks ....but we are pretty close , on our day to being number two. Can almost touch being the second best team.

I think we are a fair chance against Freo. We have a tendency to play to the level of our opposition and I'm confident we'll rise to the occasion this week. Against the Hawks however I'm completely resigned from that game. They've been so clinical lately and I'm half expecting a belting. So be it.

At least a flogging will spice things up on OER . Been boring as batpoo on here over the past 10 weeks with all the annoying winning.

How had we been playing prior to the last time we played freo   :wallywink :banghead
The script of our games has been little different to freo v GC, lions and Carlton ....do some research , rather than lame duck tripe that's a plain insult to our intelligence

did someone say flogging?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yahweh? or the great Clawski?

Can't stand up in these matches, won't stand up in finals.
No improvement.
