doggies - richmond. analysis

How is it the footscray are higher than us with younger list (mmaybe) and a first year coach?

What went wrong?

Who's fault is it?

How do we reovertake them?

Let's see how Richmond go next year    ;)

To me it seems the dogs. Have the foundation for long term success in bonts. Boyd. Stringer etc.

Even if they take a step back to take two next season

They finsihed in the bottom 6 last year so they have benefited by being grouped in the bottom 6 for the fixture.  They havent beaten a top 8 side since Round 5 this year, lets see how things pan out by the end of the year before we start thinking they have gone past anyone. Next year will be a test when they are grouped in the top 6 should they finish there, which i doubt.

Is re overtake a word?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Exactly. The wind will come out of their sails very quickly.

Another quality mid.
A crumbing forward goal sneak with X factor brilliance.
Another key back.
A key forward that's not a sideshow girl or a mummy's boy cry baby.
The club that keeps giving.

it also helps when you don't start your rebuild at the beginning of the expansion era....

Footscray will never win another flag and will fold in 10 -15 years. Same goes for North, St.Kilda & Melbourne.
