Grigg on SEN ...

* We’ve shown that when we play our best consistently we’re good enough but there’s plenty of improvement left in us. We’ve got to iron out those deficiencies because, in this day and age, if you’re off five percent on any day with the competition so even, you’ll lose. So we’ve got plenty of work to do.  We know that and we’re going to be working really hard on the track this week and looking forward to Gold Coast this coming Sunday because we need to be on our game to beat them. A big challenge ahead.

* Deledio is certainly a quality player and he was missed but that’s the challenge for us. We need to get better in all areas, not just missing that one player.

* There are a lot of areas where we need to get better. The contested ball - Adelaide really got on top of us and in the previous weeks that’s been a good strength for us.

* We like to get the ball in [inside F50 faster] and give our forwards a chance one-on-one, so they can use their natural ability and craft to win the ball. Because teams now are so good at getting back and helping out the defence and then rebounding, we want to be able to move the ball in fast. We probably didn’t do that good enough against the Crows.
