We’ve taken a look at your club’s cheapest recruits that have provided the greatest return.

RICHMOND

Ivan Maric

Maric was the big man on campus at Adelaide before falling to the position of second banana when Sam Jacobs rolled into town. A trade at the end of 2011 saw him off to Richmond in exchange for pick 37 and, as they say, the rest is history. Since then, he’s made 72 appearances for the Tigers as their No. 1 ruckman, earning cult status with “that” mullet in the process. Incredibly handy at an even handier price.

The Tigers have been one of the AFL recycling leaders with Bachar Houli also costing no more than a pre-season draft pick.

Taylor Hunt is continuing the tradition this year.
