It's a "Thank gawd this nightmare season is over" game

My hope in 2016 is that the club at least tries to put more effort into making our VFL stronger. That's the main reason we've been so non competitive for most of the season, our VFL listed players are ordinary at best

Agree with this. I has watched many games this year and some of the VFL players are extremely poor. Mellington is the standout player and only 19 years old. Gale and Kruse can play and Scott shows plenty. It would be great if Knights plays for the VFL next year along with recently cut AFL players, not country spuds.

Is Mellington only 19? I assumed we picked up that one that used to play for Freo (or maybe he still does?), which would mean he would of been older than that. Not to bad then

The race for the Jim "Frosty" Miller Medal for the league's leading goalkicker will come down to the final round with Hawthorn-listed Sam Grimley looking to secure back-to-back medals with Box Hill. On 41 goals, Grimley will have the last say on Sunday against Williamstown.

Port Melbourne's Jordan Lisle is also on 41, while Richmond's Liam McBean is on 40.

Does there come a time when you say 'who gives a stuff how this bloke kicks goals. He's done it consistantly over three years lets see if he can transfer it to the AFL'? Hope he gets a crack next week after Reiwoldt gets a "niggling hip injury"

Jackstar is back!!!
