NEXT to Richardson was Richmond coach Damien Hardwick, who said the club was on the hunt for a player of Harley Bennell’s quality, but didn’t specifically say the club was chasing the former Gold Coast Sun.

“We’re probably like every other club, we’re just trying to improve our list. We’ll go through and see what we get, obviously we need to improve,” Hardwick said.

“We’re looking at a number of players.”

After Hardwick’s interview, co-host Robinson said he was “80 per cent” sure Bennell was heading to Richmond during the trade period, but that North Melbourne was also in the race.
