Sat morning training session report
« on: September 12, 2015, 04:06:54 PM »
Went to training this morning standing in the outer watching the lads go through their paces like I was Bart Cummings . They were stuffen mint I tellya , ball barely touched the ground.
Watched griff with some intent , went toe to toe with astbury who's in some pretty good nic just quietly , then bg spread plucking one touch marks and looking lively with some deft kicking.
Lloyd and Lennon paired off making me think these changes are firm.
Conca was up and about like a spring lamb , he s fit , don't worry  :shh

Then just before things were about to wind up, griff had the ball , Choco said come back have a shot , then he started barking at him, left post , left post . BG kicked it and guess what , it hit the left post  :shh
I just put down my glasses and said under my breath,  stuffen whoa , these guys are ON :clapping

Early departure leaves questions over Richmond's Troy Chaplin

Troy Chaplin left Richmond's training session 15 minutes early on Saturday morning, casting doubt over his fitness to play in the Tigers' elimination final against North Melbourne.

Chaplin trained with a group of rehabilitating players earlier in the week, which the club said was simply due to soreness from their round 23 game against the Kangaroos.

The defender was chosen in the Tigers' starting lineup for their final on Sunday and ran through some light drills at their last training.

But he left half an hour into the 45 session. Hundreds of fans showed up to Punt Road to watch the players go through their paces.

Apparently Chaplin did the match simulation training earlier in the week? I think he will play, just playing funny buggers. Any doubt and Astbury would have been on the emg list.

I think you're right dwaino and Chappy will play. We can though bring Astbury in and just pay the fine.

I'm not worried about Chappy playing. Griff is my worry.
Was hardly setting the world on fire when he got injured against Freo 7 weeks ago.
I still believe he won't play and Lloyd or Lennon will get the nod as sub. :thumbsup
