Little sleep last night
Football is only a game but how important is today for the club , players , supporters

Spent all day in the garden yesterday and then forced myself to do a Quick 10km so I'd have a solid sleep.

I've got generally positive vibes.

Today is critical. Just some doubt over dropping Lennon and Lloyd. We need to kick a winning score and they ins have no match fitness. if this move backfires, it will smack of us getting too cute with selectIons or outsmarting ourselves before the ball is bounced.

Three lost finals in a row and you can say that 8thmond is the new 9thmond.

I am president of my local club who play a sudden death final today also. Today could be disastrous for me. stuff, i hope not.

Lol at those waking with the feeling like they are about to play - I did that yesterday morning!!  Spent the whole night having football-related dreams and woke up with us leading 12.9 to 8.6 and having all the play but not converting chances.  It was one of those dreams that felt so real and I had the biggest knot in my stomach when I woke.  Hope the score was right!!

Players, coaches, supporters alike need to look into the mirror this morning as they are preparing for today events
We need to look past the vessel of flesh that stares back at us and find that inner courage, determination and resolve that will allow us to lay waste to the largest infestation of human feces ever to present itself in the form of an afl team.

I've been thinking of the 2001 grudge match at the Dome between us and the Dogs. We won by 2 points. I know we aren't playing the Dogs but they lost last night, so just like 14 years ago our last final win, where they failed we'll succeed. Or that's how I want to see it right now.
