Royce Hart
« on: September 14, 2015, 06:48:56 PM »
Just saw Royce Hart on 7 news, something about him selling off all his memorabilia to raise funds.
FMD we need to help him out, 4 time premiership player selling off some of the richest memorabilia in history to pay bills.
Something about raising 150k
FFS 70k members, $1 each they'd be halfway there...
I'm not rolling in cash but would definetly want to help and put cash forward.
Just to think what players get payed today to not even achieve anything and players Like Royce bled for the club to win premiership.

Surely I'm not on my own here??

We could set something up on this forum?
Maybe raise a few k?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I'll tip in. And here's a thought, instead of putting into the fighting tiger fund we give money to Royce?

Okay, if someone stickies this thread, let's get something started

Hasn't had a job for a while, bad knees have made it hard. I'd buy a raffle ticket if the club wanted a fund raiser

FWIW, the club has helped him

Club via their past players group took care of knee replacement ops for him.

Just putting it out there, club has over a number years helped him out

Saw a Facebook post from Flea asking people not to arrange for donations as the club is assisting Royce.
