North Melbourne are still laughing at our club for falling for the most stupid trick in the book of cheating. ln a last round clash, Go hard in a bruising encounter. You are all part of the club even if you play in the Reserves. We will play our good players next week. Who are mostly dinosaurs

Good to see Claw back. We need someone to remind us the club is stuffed and that we're all stupid.

I actually think the club is in a good place, i just dont rate the list or our on field  achievements.  Do i think my fellow posters are stupid. No i dont. Some re other things but i wont go there. The point here is we havent earnt the right to be arrogant. It just amuses me that people even in the off season still see the need to dick measure. It really isnt that hard to give credit where it is due and stop being so fragile. How anyone can have a crack at nm record and then talk ours up is just a tad hypocritical.

So list is no good, we're crap on the field, list managers and recruiters are hopeless, but the club is in a good place?

You cant differentiate between off field and on field. Thought you were smarter than that.

I would have thought the two are interwoven, but let's move on.

I agree the two should compliment each other, but theres no given the  two will automatically be  be mutually inclusive. A blind man can see we are healthy off field  but are yet to achieve anything onfield. Clearly in our case one area is achieving its goals and the other is not.  If it had every other thread on most sites  would not be raging about where we are actually at.
99% of supporters would agree we have done very well off field. But the debate still rages about where we are at as far as the footy side of it goes.

The list is middling. If you want to interpret that as no good great.Iwouldnt i would say its average.
 Crap onfield your words not mine, We are like a lot of sides good at our best and lousy at other times. We play a soft unaccountable brand of footy that has failed in three finals so far.

Recruiting manager has been there 10 11 years and we are yet to win a final or make top 4. HE  has us going along at a cracking pace!!!!!!!!.
List manager has had 7 years and yet the holes in the list are as great as they have ever been to go with  other areas of  that portfolio that have not been great. 

But hey it seems no one should be criticising any thing they do.Im not sure how any one can be happy with the pace of improvement we will all be in nursing homes before we win a thing at this rate.

I think we improved a lot over the first three years under Hardwick. The last three have been a bit up and down but overall there has been an upward trend. Probably not anywhere near enough of an  improvement to get us seriously challenging.  This trade period will probably make or break Hardwick. We really need an injection of grunt and class.

Ok. But you originally said "I think the club is in a good place." I took that to mean a combination of both on and off field, which is a reasonable assumption. You started separating things afterwards.
If you initially said "I think the club is good off field" then it wouldnt have sounded odd next to your usual doom and gloom.
