Richmond's time to trade for a high profile player like Dangerfield or anyone else in the running is now. Our premiership window is open now. We need to do business now to get a shot at the flag next year. If we don't do it now. We will be stagnant on the ladder till our next crop is ready. Do you smell what the rock is cooking   ;D

Agree, just not for borderline talent as the thread was about. Dont think that will get us anywhere.

Only one I'd take from that list is Redden. Big unit, good age and the type of physical ruckman we need. From memory he's not very skilled but Id see him as an upgrade on Hampson and from memory he competes HARD and physical.

I reckon Stevie J is cooked, don't think his legs have got enough in them tbh, looked way off the pace this season, keefe is handy but with another year out don't know where he'll be at. Don't know the other prospect.

Think we could get yarran and Bennell for unders - 2nd rounder for yarran is a steal - if he's managed right he's an elite talent, Bennell we all know what he's capable, pick 14 or whatever we have is well worth it.

But ultimately like you, my number 1 priority would be Carlisle. Rance and Carlisle would just be  :bow

I really like the look of Mitchell Grigg from Adelaide. Just cannot seem to get a regular game and even with Danger leaving they still have Crouch to come into their side.  Anyone else seen much of him?

The Collingwood bloke is a gun. Would absolutely list him and sit on him for a year. If Chaplin isn't cooked already he will be in 12 months for sure.

Redden I'd take also. Not a premier ruckman but a decent B grader and with Maric and Hampson both looking finished we need somebody who can actually ruck ASAP.

Townsend don't know him.

SJ - would consider. Looks cooked too but the brains are still there for sure...

I do as well.Really good decision maker and can run all day and works hard defensively..If looking for an inside mid who wins heaps of contested ball and clearances Grigg is not your man though.
Another not getting much of a go at Adelaide is Kerridge.I think he would make a really good run with player who can sneak fwd and hurt on the scoreboard.

What is the point of an 17 year old that will take 4-5 year to become very good

When the window will likely be closed by such a time
Well some one hasn't learnt any lessons from the last 30 odd years.
Please explain what window are you talking about and when will it all happen.

dont be so selfish joseph. Let the other kids join in your game
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

One Grigg is enough. Don't know how much you've seen of him but surely it's enough?
