THE FIRST piece of Brendon Bolton's new coaching puzzle is expected to be announced soon, with Richmond VFL coach Tim Clarke in the Blues' sights.

Clarke, who has been a highly rated coach at the second level, has been in discussions with the Blues for a number of weeks and is in line for an assistant coaching role alongside Bolton.

Good riddance - dud coach, Carlton deserve him, now he can go spin his b.s. match reports for their magoos. Hope we get a decent replacement like German, Basset or even get Collins back.....better VFL players would also help.

Well if he was "highly rated' at the second level, our players, RC listed included, must be really crap.

Love the way that people criticize coaches.

Tim Clarke is a terrific guy, has an enormous football knowledge and is very intense and committed to the cause.

Having our own VFL team is solely based around being able to develop our players our own way.

Sure you can debate how that maybe travelling but Clarke is a terrific coach and will be a great addition to the Carlton coaching panel if he gets a gig.

Thank you finally some good news. Ooh but wait it's not about results

TFL wake up please. He may be all those things and still be a dud coach which he has proven to be.

Get Choco down there and Ratts as another assistant. Time to start using our money on quality assistants.
