Tigers' day one trade update (RFC)

Dan Richardson on Roar Vision ...

VISION: http://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/2015-10-12/trade-update-dan-richardson

* We met with all the 17 other clubs, had some good discussions and we’ll see where the week and a half goes from here.

* A lot of the discussions with clubs had already been initiated a few weeks ago, so everyone’s got a fair idea where each other sit. But, in saying that, it’s worthwhile having an update today, as there are a few players that have re-signed and a few other things have happened in that time. Things move fairly quickly over this period.

* We think some rebound off half-back and some genuine speed is a priority, as is a bigger-bodied, taller, inside midfielder, with a bit of aggression. So, they’re the two key needs that we’re going into trying to target this year.

* Obviously, last year, we decided to invest heavily in the draft. But certainly, this year, we’re hopeful of bringing in a couple of players, a little bit more mature, that can help us next year.

* We’ve got a bit of work to do to achieve those two key needs that we’re after, but we’re confident that we will.

FMD what a joke.
God they bull poo so much they cant tell the difference between fact and fiction anymore.  This is an early attempt to justify what has gone on.
We dont  need  Yarran to provide run and pace off hb just play McIntosh or god forbid we DEVELOP  a kid like Menadue of hb. In fact play both of H/B and start to give the big bodied Vlastuin some real development time in the middle.

I already feel sorry for Towsnend, that big bodied mid he speaks about, He is well worth a punt but ffs what are the expectations gunna be. Before the season starts they will be talking him up as if he is a top 10 draft pick. And they will do that in an attempt to justify their failures.

Hey Claw, who would you then put on the wing to replace McIntosh?
