it's a steep learning curve for him but I think the signs are promising. I really like his dash. with more pre-seasons to get fitness in him I think we'll see him burn off opponents more.

Probably his worst game so far but have to keep persisting with him.

Did anyone else see him throw a player into the fence? I'm pretty sure it was him. Didn't see a replay but could be looked at :shh

It's conceivable WAT. He's only played 6 games.

As opposed to Batch who we have "persisted with" for 6 years...of course he should stay in the side but I wouldn't be saying we need to "persist", more like develop and get game time into him..."persist" is all about Morris, Batch, Ellis and the other crap.

Re-read the above posts. Take five. Breath deeply and wonder to yourself is it reasonable to bring Batch into this thread?

You don't think a player who has played 6 games could possibly play his worst game? Or did you think it was a good game? Or do you think we should drop him already? Please tell me what is tripping you up.

you seem awfully convinced that WAT thinks?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

VIDEO: http://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/2016-05-14/round-8-rioli-kicks-two-in-the-last

--------------

The Rioli moment(s)

We've all seen Cyril light up the MCG with magical moments, but when the time came for Daniel Rioli early in the last quarter with the Tigers closing, he did not disappoint. He took a handball from Jack Riewoldt on the wing with only space in front of him and he took off. Three bounces later and with the Tiger army on their feet riding every step, he kicked the goal from the top of the square. Two minutes later he was at it again, dribbling the ball through from the top of the goalsquare for the Tigers fifth in a row. It was electrifying stuff from the youngster in his first season and the difference in the end.

His defensive pressure in the forward 50 tonight was sustained for longer than any other game. I think we nailed this selection. Can play.
