I agree. Until he plays better football he cannot have an opinion on anything.

Bit harsh

If he hasn’t earnt a right to an opinion over the last few years of good play, then his post game BOG from the 2017 flag was very worthy

Careless, high, medium impact. 1 week with an early guilty plea.

2-3 weeks probably.

Can't do that anymore and it's probably a good thing for the game/players.

All good we'll be OK while Broady has a holiday.

Terrible tackle but agree with the poster who said it should have been avoided with an early whistle by the umpire.

I heard plenty about this tackle all afternoon, but first impressions after seeing the video I felt it really wasn't all that bad.  Broad does exactly what every player does when tackling an opponent - went hard to wrap him up & took him to ground to force a stoppage.  It was actually a first class tackle.  There was no high contact at all, his head hitting the ground caused the concussion, but it was more unlucky than careless.

I dunno, but I've seen plenty worse than this not even get looked at ...    :-\

In the classic (illegal) sling tackle the tackler goes to the ground first, then pulls his man down & slings him across his body.  Tremendous leverage & centrifugal force can be generated by the slinging action, but Broad did nothing like that.  Broad had both arms around his man all the way to the ground, there was no significant slinging action.
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

It was a poo tackle.

The guy's arms are pinned in the tackle and he slams him into the turf. Broad didn't mean it, the umpire should have stopped it, but it was a poo tackle.

No excuses. 2 week min for mine.
