Back to the topic, ppl!

Training went ahead at Punt Rd instead.

The show goes on after cancellation

Wet weather footy Watch the Tigers train in wet conditions.

Despite the Club's scheduled open training in Beaconsfield not going ahead on Friday due to the predictably unpredictable Melbourne weather, Richmond's players completed a wet-weather session at Punt Road Oval.

The light outing lasted just over an hour on the field, before the players made their way into the gym for some strength work.

Off-season recruit Chris Yarran was a welcome addition back to skills work after a recent focus on conditioning, while Dan Butler was another to catch the eye as he puts in a strong pre-season following a debut year ruined by a knee injury.

After a three-day weekend, the players will return to the club on Australia Day as preparations increase ahead of next month's NAB Challenge opener against Fremantle.
