Was it really benifical hanging around 8th, 9th a with a side chick a block of list blockers the last three years?

Given the elimination final results, one of them to a 9th place Carlton, it's a fair conclusion we were never a proper threat

But in typical Richmond fashion - lost to Melbourne twice.
