We won't need to clear a spot, Thursfield can be kept on the rookie list next year, and it looks like that is whats going to happen!

We have to use 3 picks in the National Draft so I'd expect Richo to go on the Veterans.

I think they will wait and see with Gas - in the sense see  let's who's available in the PSD and move him (Gaspar) to the veterans if we are going to utilise the PSD pick

Don't know about that Blade - GMiller said in a report in the EOTT section of the RFC web-site that we would promoting both rookies :-\ :thumbsup

I think we are going to utilize our PSD pick as Terry said in his article in another thread said we will go after a mature body.

I'd say we will keep Thursfield on the rookie list and up Richo to the vets list, leaving 3 picks in the draft and one in the PSD.  But the possibility of one more player being delisted can't be discounted. Hopefully we are in a financial postiion were we can put 2 on the vets list, then we can draft the extra 4 and put 4 on the rookie list.  But somehow, i think we will again go short on the full list of 44.

Both Rookies have been promoted so either another delisting or two or one or two onto the vets list.

I hope we add some long-term projects onto our rookie list.

A tall (200cm+) junior ruckmen would be ideal, sure we have Simmonds and Knobel but they are 26 and 25 so we need to plan for the future.

This kid probably wouldn't play seniors for atleast 2, 3 years so it wouldn't be a problem.

Gas placed outside on the Veterans' list

Gas as a veteran has been placed outside the senior list while Richo remains inside.

http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=235973

So we have a maximum of 5 rookie spots available.

It also means we'll be using our PSD pick.

Wouldn't it be better to pass on our PSD pick and get 2-3 rookies?  ???

With Gas now outside, we have to fill the remaining 4 spots on our senior list. It's now compulsory. So that's picks 8,24,40 and either pick 72 or our PSD pick. We didn't take pick 59 off the dogs in the Paddy Bowden trade so we definitely won't be using the later pick 72.
