Yes great pity but if it's the right thing for him atm then it's the right thing. The black dog can be overcome but it takes time let's hope he rises above it some day soon.

Very sad news but completely understandable. A very considerate and selfless decision to retire. I wish him a speedy recovery and good luck for the future.
