I reckon it poor of the clubs failure in firstly drafting them if they did have depression and not being able to help them, and failure if they didn't have depression that it has come on and still the club can't help either of them. Despite probably the best resources in the land.

Both professional athletes who are nutritionally undisciplined I might add.

I can see your point but considering that depression affects one in five people ( some stats say one in four) it is inevitable that a cohort that has over forty people in will have some depression present.

Also, it is not up to the club alone to help those affected, it's a wholistic approach. Family, friends, the club, mental health professionals and mostly the individual themselves are responsible for mental health recovery.

Depression can also strike quite quickly and can be difficult to preempt.

This is not the clubs fault, it not anyone's fault.

Maybe they read this forum, that would challenge any players mental health.  Speaking of which, Ox, have you had that complete and utter lack of human empathy looked at?  It is kind of disturbing, the stuff weirdo's who hurt small animals and beat women are made of.  You aren't a weirdo are you Ox?  You like women and animals right?  ;D
