Chol vs Chaplin - who would you rather in the 22 for round 1?

If it were a matter of the team selectors picking one or the other, who would you prefer?

Elevate Chol or stay the course with Chaplin as a forward?

Chaplin is still ahead of Chol.
That doesn't make me a Chaplin lover nor a Chol hater but Chol is not ready. He provided a bit of excitement and promise but let's just remember how green he is and that it was only NAB Challenge. Let's see him do it in the ressies consistently and then give him a go. I'd rather see other blokes push Chaplin out of a game first, like Elton.

Chol has performed better thsn Chaplin in the forward line in the preseason. Chaplin hasn't done anything to justify his selection.  If he performs against Port then I will rethink the question. As of now purely looking at who has given more spark in the forward line, it is Chol.

I agree with you here except for....

I think Astbury is earmarked to take Chaplin's role in the back this year not Elton.

Would love to see Choi get an opportunity but I doubt that it will happen in round 1

Where's McBean in this scenario ?..Surely he's next cab off the rank ?

I don't like the idea of Chappy in the forward line at all ......unless we are five goals down in a final and he's told to go out there and emulate Scotty Turner.

Call me a RCGG dude, but I firmly believe that Chol is already a superior player to Judd in his prime.

In fact, if the AFL admin' wasn't so damn racist, Chol would already have three Chazwicks.
