I reckon Cyril 2.0 should play.

He looked dangerous against Port and I reckon the space of the G will suit him. Not like we have a plethora of speedy forwards in front of him.

Let the boy play!
I think Butler should be given a chance in front of him. Just as quick and more developed.

Agree.....can play in the midfield as well.....would still play either of them ahead of Lloyd.....

Check out this Blues fan ...

Bit of both.

We've got the midfield depth and fitness to run over the top of them, I just hope that we trust in that at the selection table instead of seeking structural selections (outside of defence).

I'm hoping that Armfield comes up so we don't have to roll the dice with Lamb's form. We'd also have enough run to carry Phillips if we really think he can make an impact; I don't see it myself.

Any team using White in defence or midfield while Rowe is in the side (as he probably should be given Maric, Hampson, Griffiths and Vickery will be in the selection frame for Richmond) is another no-no.

We have the midfield under control, they have an advantage in terms of the ruck, but aside from Riewoldt and Rance, everything else is somewhat even. A good team defence will blanket Jack because he's not athletically blessed and we have a couple of good direct match ups for him in Weitering and Jamison.

Negating Rance comes down to how we utilise our talls in our entries (i.e. less pack situations, more switches) and forward pressure if they take possession at ground level.

Richmond are excellent at their spread and have some good tall talent, particularly in defence, but they really do lack a killer blow beyond Jack and Cotchin.

Jamison plays well on jack, Should show Chaplin the tapes

Perhaps yarren, deledio, rioli will get on on the killer blow aspect. 100 point win would hit the spot

Met a patient who works in the MCC. He told me that they are not going to have the secondary fence circling the G for the footy this season. Not sure if this has been published or if it is in fact true. Just sharing the info.....
