play games against small clubs , interstate clubs

49500 richmond fans in a 50k seat stadium would be worth 5 / 6 goals ...

It doesn't need to be 50k. just going by recent years or the last home games we have had the  attendances against interstate teams and even a few Melbourne teams has rarely gone over 40k.

We could easily play 5 or so home games at  a 40k PRO in a fantastic intimidating atmosphere and not lose any crowd numbers. The potential for catering   gate profits naming rights its endless.
How good to own the catering rights to the ground not just for our games but all games that are played there.

The AFL has rejected Benny Gale's Punt Rd stadium idea (as well as Eddie's idea of a new stadium). It wants to redevelop and upgrade Etihad instead.
