List Management Accountability??
« on: March 25, 2016, 12:00:26 AM »
Where is the accountability? We have done many things well since the beginning of the Hardwick era. Plenty wrong but none more so than the debcale that has been our list management over the last 3 years. Moneyball crap ring a bell but bugger me anyone with half a brain can work out that Maric is on the way out and that he is unlikely to ever be able to play a full season again. Anyone can see we still lack pace. Anyone can see we lack in the small and medium forward department.

Why weren't these addressed. We recuited a fat outside running half back when we have stocks already. Albeit pretty soft players in Ellis and Houli who were pathetic tonight, the inclusion of Yarran doesn't excite me at all.

Seeing Wright be effective tonight was frustrating. Seeing Phillips clunk a mark inside 50 and kick a goal was frustrating when you compare him to the physical wacko that is Hampson.

Just bloody frustrating that we fork out our coin year in year out and this basic stuff is just PLAIN to see. :banghead

One would think that the accountability starts with the person who is actually in charge of List Management, you know the bloke who rates our and opposition lists and then makes the recommendations of who to keep, who to go after etc

Which at the RFC is Blair Hartley

So start with him  :snidegrin

If Cotchin is in our bottom six we are in a good place. Try again

Blair has to go.
If it was his decision to recruit the spud and not even try to get another ruckman to the club since, is in my opinion, decisions worthy of sacking.
I'd also get rid of FJ too, he's had too many fails even in the first round.

Surely we can get a better list management and recruiting team.
