Contracted til end of this year:-
Conca
Hampson
Batchelor
Astbury
Griffiths
McBean

Contracted til end of 2017:-
Morris
Bellis
Elton
Hunt

Only Bellis and Conca would have trade value and a second rounder at best for either

I think you could have last year Al, but I think his value is on a steady decline.

I reckon there's a chance you could snag a 2nd round pick for Elton. I don't rate him but someone is always willing to pay overs on a tall with good attributes which he has. Depends on what's going, the other teams needs and luck but if a team offered that you'd take it and run surely

Geez I have to laugh at some people's posts. A second rounder for an untried player ..... :birthday

I'm be fair dinkum about this...

We should put Lids and Cotchin up for trade. Breaks my heart to say it re: Lids, don't care as much about Cotch, but IMO it looks like Cotch is figured out and Lids is reaching a point where his best football will be about 18 games/season.

We need currency badly to bring in another two players or so into the midfield, or even a couple of bookends...

And also I think we have lots of options for captaincy. Jack, Rance, even a guy like Vlastuin.

Who is available that can help transform our team?

Prestia, i think we can pull the old Grigg/Collins switcheroo and send B Ellis to GC.

Our first rounder might be able to be upgraded using the Lions /GWS etc. academy points deal. Send a few guys, McBean, Astbury, Conca out for late 2nds and early 3rds and package them up for a top ten pick. As long as we give them more points than the top 10 pick is worth.

Send this off for another gun.

Get in Hurleys ear and get him to leave the Bumbers as a DFA.

And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

I thought you'd at least understand this one. I have underlined (and made bold, just for you) the bits that need emphasis in case you're still struggling to comprehend. I don't think it's unrealistic to think you may be able to snag a second rounder (pick 40 or under) for him.

Just a few examples for you:
Jaksch (and Whiley) got pick 7
Sam Frost got pick 23
Hombsh (and Neade) got pick 28
Gunston got 24 and two pick upgrades
Tom Lynch got pick 37
Jordan Lisle got pick 29
Tommy Walsh (ZERO AFL GAMES) got pick 35 and 69
Josh Jenkin (ZERO AFL GAMES) got pick 31
Sam Jacobs got pick 34 and 67

All under 10 games except Frost (20), Gunston (14) and Jacobs (17). It is also ignoring all the pre-selected players GWS and GC had access to and traded for decent picks.

Oh and just for a bit of fun:
Liam Jones a known dud got pick 46 :lol
And your favourite dud Jesse White got pick 44 :lol :lol
