Do our players play for each other?
« on: April 09, 2016, 08:21:01 PM »
1. Vs Collingwood, J.Short first mark in football Pendles took his head off and made him earn it. Not 1 single player went up and stood up for him. Weak.

2. Vs Crows Cotchin kicks a goal, after being under the pump and starts pumping up the boys, 2 players went and gave him a pat on the back. Captain under seige. Great to see the pathetic support.

3. Vs Crows Rioli kicks his first goal and about 5 players go and get around him. Pretty staple now in footy that any first goal every single player gets around him. Pathetic. Same thing with his 2nd goal.

4. Vs Crows Grigg take a mark going back with the flight in front of Vlaustin who look pretty unhappy Grigg didn't pull out. Seemed selfish and would back Vlastin over Grigg who never kicks set shots.
Go Tigers!

They probably think they do, but doesn't look like it from the outside. In terms of blocks, shepherds, and generally roughing up opposition targets, I'd say we're one of the lamest. I saw Jack give menadue a spray today bc he didn't pass to him. Pretty poor form

The egg team alive and well. Bunch of stupid soft pansy limp wristed poofs playing now. As long as we don't take risks , don't rock the boat, never stick up for a teammate, don't do anything to show aggression & never ever let dusty stir up the Collingwood cheer squad with his fingers.

And the coaching staff is determined that they're all good administrators when their footy careers are over.   :clapping
The club that keeps giving.

players get decked and they look the other way

100s of other examples if one can BF
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus

It's easy to call them peanuts because they are but behind every peanut factory there's a master peanut.A peanut who teaches the younger peanuts how to be a peanut. A peanut who implements a way of thinking for the younger peanuts and ultimately is accountable for the final harvest of peanuts.

To be completely honest I think this is related to Cotchin. I don't think the players respect him enough/look up to him.

Once they're out on the field it has significantly less to do with Hardwick and a lot more to do with the on-field leaders.

I don't think Cotchin INSPIRES his team to do these things. And it's not that he isn't 'trying hard enough' - I seriously think he's just not the right bloke to lead the team as a personality.

Somebody who is liked within the club, such as Rance or Jack or Edwards should be carrying the flag IMHO.

If that is true, the players are a bunch of whingers. There should be pride in ones performance for the club, not sulking about one individual's input as captain.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Agreed.

In fact I've felt this way about every single job I've ever had.

But we all have colleagues that just don't give a F about the quality of their work and just want the payslip!
