HHHAAARRRGGGGHHHHHH IT IS HILARIOUS.

So after 7 years of Hardwick the best we can come up with is a 24 yr old failure from another club and a 25yo with the skills of a 10 yo.What marvelous depth this club has built up over the last 7 years.

The scary part is it is about as good as it gets outside of the handful of injured players.

Hmm i wonder what odds i can get on that 1 and 9 i thought a possibility.

As I said the other day, I'm happy enough to see players like Miles dropped if their form warrants. It sends a decent message that form counts, not reputation.
But as I also said I wanted to see something different. How is picking Hunt after nearly the worst game I had seen by one individual ever, get a recall a week later?
If this game was in Melbourne I wouldn't  go.
Moore coming in I'm happy with but FMD I cannot believe they have picked Hunt again. I would have said his papers were stamped after that performance 2 weeks ago.

Also dropping a kid after one quiet week after going out on a limb and saying we may need to take a step back to go two steps forward, basically saying we are going to play some kids. Just pathetic!

Can you imagine Hunt, Houli and BEllis in the same backline all at once!
Putrid!!
I makes me sick some of the decisions this FH is making.

Hardwick hedging his bets with selections,, this week I think it might be three steps back and no steps forward, his presser again will be essential viewing. We could have record clangers, when we actually get the ball that is, don't think we will see much of it to be honest. Can already hear Hardwick saying we got beaten by last years grand finalist so we now know the level we have to be at..... More and more spin each week.

Miles' form has not been crash hot by anyone's measure.
But it was nowhere near that bad that you would bring Taylor Hunt in for him.  :banghead

Obviously Hardwick thinks these selections will have us moore in the hunt but I feel they will see us miles short......

To improve our disposals I guess. Super torpedoes into the forward line (Of the opposition).  Hunt !!!!???

Watching Hunt last week I thought he should never, ever be recalled.....however, he did play the "Richmond Way"....

what he provided in the VFL game was some outside run & was very good, something Miles hasnt offered this year
Good selection as Spewbiaco is huge & we need run

Funny how Priddis won that brownlow

The ground is huge phhhhow. Had better drop ou only inside player

It sets us up for another week of "how rubbish is Cotchin" too

Moore was brought in for Miles. It's not like we're an inside player short from last week.

Agree with sentiments that this game will be lost because of team selections. Hardwick's failure to stick with Youth in dropping Short and his decision to bring Hunt in whose skill level is questionable when the team needs skilful players shows very poor judgement.

I can deal with Moore as we gave him a life line and should at least give him a try.

I can't deal with Hunt's selection. He played one of the worst games I have seen by a senior AFL footballer the game before last. I don't care if he had 100 possessions in the VFL last week. He can't be rewarded with a senior recall after just one week. Add to the fact that he is not the future as he has little upside and it makes the decision even more unbelievable. And poor Short gets the chop...... :banghead
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

This game will be lost because our drafting has been woeful, our players crap themselves under pressure and the coach is clueless. Hunt won't make a difference either way

Short is outstanding in his first game and kicks 3 goals.

His team mates ignore him in a quiet second game and he is dropped.

WTF is going on down there?

Disagree that team mates ignored.  Last week i saw him in no mmans land half a dozen times on the hbf. Not sure what he was supposed to be doing but didnt look good.
I dont agree that one game seals your fate but by the looks of selection its not because a bad game.

yeah, top class coaching and development. kid plays his first afl game as a small forward and shows good signs. next week he spends time at half back and looks all at sea. For sure, the obvious response is to drop him, FFS!
