KB's Take: My Richmond confidence is waning

I have to be honest, my early confidence is waning. I had high hopes for my club Richmond in 2016. We were locked and loaded for top 4 and we all know you can win the flag from that position.

Against Carlton the Tigers were rusty and we treated the Blues with contempt to fall in by 9 points. Then to lose to the much hyped overrated Collingwood in the dying seconds after the theme song was being warmed up was a bitter pill to swallow.

And then to learn from Damien Hardwick the Tigers have taken a half step back to go 2 steps forward in the loss to Adelaide had me rocking backwards and forwards.

Now the road trip to Perth. I’ve tried to console myself that it’s a happy hunting ground for the yellow and black. But I’m all over the shop. My mind is racing and negative thoughts have taken over. I can’t make a case for my beloved Tigers tonight for after three finals campaigns this is the year I only wanted to see giant strides this year.
