No. He's a great leader and inspiration. He tells players how to structure up. He provides physicality.
His advantages far outweigh the disadvantage he has of being "too short".

We are still a better team with Ivan in the side.

And that is why I believe we would have won the Collingwood game if he was playing

Would have structured up the mids for that final centre square bounce... things would have been very different  :thumbsup

Yes

A few people have said this and asked this of you but do you watch games? Actually watch them, not just so you can complain about anything and lately it appears everything?

because I suggest you actually watch a few games and to see what sort of directing Maric does at stoppages and you might  then understand the impact he has

failing that.... whatever ;D

Do you sort of think that the complaining has anything at all to do with the fact that I am over this club and their mediocre performance, their continual poor performances, the lies, the excuses, the rubbish players and selections and the rest after I have paid money for the past 25 years as a member, 35 as a supporter including family membership, clothing, paraphernalia,  travel to games from overseas and interstate, paying accomodation etc..... Do I need to go on.

So don't you think I have the right to complain about the crap I am being shown at the moment, with no end in sight??? Do you?

To be fair we'd have to compare us with Maric, Deledio and Yarran all fit and firing too.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

So we can conclude that such hypotheticals such as 'we would of won if Maric played' are irrelevant and silly

I thought the whole point was to demonstrate that the second last centre bounce of the night would have seen Maric discuss things with the midfield and therefore position themselves in a way to stop an easy clearance to Collingwood. Hampson, who had rucked well just walked up, there was no discussion and just jumped. It was not to indicate what would have happened the rest of the game.

Yes we can. Can we apply that same principle to our drafts choices also?

You too are an apologist, for continuing to put money into something that continues to disappoint.
It's like going to McDonalds expecting a meal like that you see at Vue de Monde.
You are actually no different but think by whinging and writing irrationale rants on this forum that somehow makes you different?
It doesn't, it makes you delusional.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
