Hardwick's post-match presser
« on: April 24, 2016, 11:01:56 PM »
Dees played great footy lol
We're not playing well enough
We gotta bounce back
Melb looked a class above us.
No class across half forward.
Work to do in areas
Coz we had the same number across fifty. Lol
Trent a jack were fearless.
Guys not performing to expectation. We gotta perform. (Der Fred)

We capable of playing some good footy.
We did it in stages LMAOLO

Our pressure at times was ok

Couldn't find a clear avenue To goal. Lol

Offensively we played well haha

We couldn't hit the front (U reckon)

Max is in just outstanding form. (Of course he is)

Here in we gotta lick our wounds and rectify the poor phases were having. ( Geez he talks like a guy with nfi)

At some stage we as a football club will stand up and get on with it (What the stuff is he talking about)

We I'll find answers and come out a better side.

Dimma's post-match presser:

* Firstly, Melbourne played a pretty good brand of footy. We're just not playing well enough and we've got a number of players not playing well enough. Miles off it at the moment. Dees were a class above us tonight. We couldn't bridge the 22 point gap all night. Enough inside 50s but our ball use was below that of the opposition.

* Inconsistency in effort, beaten in contested footy, mistackles.

* Cotch and Jack battled fearlessly tonight. Too many players not playing well enough.

* Too risky for Lids. Give him one more week.

* We're capable of playing good footy but there were patches where we let ourselves down. We got it forward and locked it in but couldn't find avenues to goal.

* Bad turnovers across the arc. We'd get a goal then give one away through turnovers. Just couldn't bridge the gap.

* Just to lick our wounds and get on with it. We didn't match Melbourne around the contests and in contested effort. We can turn that around in a week.

* Answers are in the playing group. Players are expected to play a certain way once they put the jumper on. The responsibility is on me, the other coaches, the players. We've been here before.

* Rance - yeah it was out of character. Not much more he can say.

* Jack's ankle? Don't know at this stage.

Never mentioned the fact that dees players were always Unmarked and in space....because that's how he plays the numbers game. He allows that to happen cos he thinks he can make it up in other areas, which puts too much pressure on the unprepared players trying to execute his mathematical rubbish game plan.

surely that presser is worth another year added to his contract extension.

no class across half forward.?

yeah you have a natural, classy half forward who you constant butt stuff. play him across half back and/or then drop him after 1 average game.

the only richmond player in the last 20 years who actively watches the flight of the ball and positions himself accordingly? yeah, push him down to half back and  drop him after 1 poor game too.

Yes, been here before why? Because you are clueless and if it's happened before why haven't you implemented something to ensure it didn't happen again.

He just rambles with the same dribble week in week out. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say when we still only have the one win after 12 rounds.

But so do half of the users of this forum!
Malthouse repeated the same dribble for 20 years, its called 'giving the media nothing'.

A)  We're not paid to make the rfc a competitive sporting team

B)Malthouse win finals.
