Seriously, people still believe this nonsense?! 

This hoax has been around for years. Some image design website back in 2002 asked its users to come up with some pics of made-up "archaeological discoveries". A prankster pulled these fake images of giant skeletons off this website and added text to them to see who would fall for it. Surprise surprise, some American religious/Bible/Creation fundamentalists believed it was all real  and claimed these images were proof the Bible was right about "giants" existing in Old Testament times. Since then these images and youtube vision of giant skeletons, fake National Geographic articles, and conspiracy theories about scientific and government cover-ups, pop up regularly. Apparently, even some news outlets have promoted them as real stories .
