Gold Coast's Dion Prestia has told his manager he only wants to speak to Richmond and Carlton.

Injury prone. GC doctors told him he may never play again...went and saw North's doctors for a second opinion...if he leaves, he'll join his brother there anyway....

ok so seems we're going hard at Prestia - what are people prepared to give up for him?

I believe we can get Hurley and Prestia. Prestia has good X-factor. I'm tired of having an excess of blue collar types which can't break the lines or do anything creative with the ball. If we leave him forward I believe he can really be something

Would be happy to see the following players thrown up plus a second rounder on traded from another club for both Pres and Hurley:

B Ellis
Batchelor
Morris
Houli
Grigg

If the money we supposedly have offered Hurley is even remotely close then we should be getting him as a DFA.
He's only worth that kind of coin if he's coming for free, if we had to trade for him then our offer would have to be considerably lower.

Of the players above whether people rate him or not B Ellis is the only player there that can return a 1st round pick and if we could get one you would have to consider it.

Prestia pre 2016 probably worth mid 1st round I would have thought, on his form of late I would say its dropped to late 1st/ very early 2nd round pick.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Prestia is a gun. Stocky build and great tackler.

Definite yes from me.

why should what you have to give up to get him, affect what you pay a player?

One you give up money, the other you give up players/picks.

The two things are irrelevant to each other?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
